You may have heard about the prolonged closure of Highway 27 through Topanga Canyon. CalTrans is still clearing debris and making the road safe for travel. However, the closure only affects the road from Jalan Jalan Imports to PCH. So while this is inconvenient to commuters, we want to make sure you’re aware that Topanga Canyon is completely accessible between Jalan Jalan and the Valley!

Hopefully, you’re already taking advantage of the local shopping opportunities in Topanga. If not, please consider using our local shops for your daily needs. There’s a lot to offer! For example, you can buy groceries at the Topanga Creek General Store.

Need wine, cheese, or fresh produce? Canyon Gourmet is conveniently located in Pine Tree Circle. Spend some time chatting with owner Peter Kagan, who has some pretty amazing stories.

Have lunch or dinner at Canyon Bistro & Wine Bar. Not only is the food highly recommended, there’s live music happening regularly!

Looking for pizza with the family? Rocco’s is a Topanga institution, located in Topanga Town Center. As long as you’re having pizza, check out the 131 for open mic nights and regular live music.

Need to get some work done? Check out the new and beautiful CoLab space behind Rosewood.

How about breakfast at Topanga Table? Or lounge on a couch at Café Mimosa, sipping a cappuccino. Inn of the Seventh Ray has you covered for Sunday brunch, which is becoming famous not only in Topanga, but all over L.A.!

Don’t forget the Topanga Farmer’s Market, which is open every Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Topanga Community House!

Even with the road closures, there’s plenty to do right in the heart of our community. Don’t let the closure signs scare you. Shop local!
