Qigong is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that blends movement, meditation and breathing practices. Explore gentle, flowing movements that awaken vitality, calm the mind and uplift the spirt. Qigong may reduce stress, improve energy, strengthen the immune system and resistance to chronic illnesses. Qigong and its slow purposeful movements have been found to improve balance and gait and reduce risk of falls.

MISSION

The Topanga Community Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization, independently owned and maintained by the citizens of Topanga. The TCC was founded in 1949. Since then it has been the only community center available to generations of Topanga Canyon residents. The TCC is funded, not through any county or state taxes, but by our membership dues, donations and fund-raising. Be a part of the Topanga Community Center. JOIN TODAY!

The TCC is dedicated to protect, maintain, upgrade and enhance the Community House and the grounds entrusted to its care. The TCC is serving the Community of Topanga by providing access and support for philanthropic, educational, and community activities and services.

FOR THE COMMUNITY, BY THE COMMUNITY

The Community House is a meeting place for the Topanga Canyon Seniors (Sages), Topanga Teens, Anonymous Groups, the Topanga Historical Society, the Topanga Chamber of Commerce, the Topanga Symphony, Spiritual and Health gatherings, and many low cost programs for young children.

The adjacent Ballfield is the home field of Topanga Youth Baseball and Soccer League. Our income is provided by rentals from weddings & special events plus fundraising to keep our doors open.

Topanga Farmers Market is a community gathering nestled in the mountains, offering local, organic food, vintage & handmade goods, and live music.

We are so excited to bring fresh produce back to the canyon and create a convening space for local artisans, growers, and makers. We will have an exceptional collection of vendors: a total of 38 booths each week, including fresh produce, prepared foods, and a craft market. We are prioritizing partnering with local, regenerative, and organic producers, vendors, and artists committed to building community, educating consumers, and reducing negative impact on our environment.

TIME: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM —

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.

A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Improve your balance, increase your strength and learn fall prevention and safety. Have fun while you gain confidence in your daily activities in Kat High's Strength and Balance class.

Class is taught by Kat High, a licensed physical therapist with decades of experience at the Motion Picture Hospital and other facilities.
